Jo Ber

Brought up on comics and hip-hop, Jo Ber grew up close to Paris and the La Défense
business district. In the 2000s, the area became his first playground before he was driven by
the desire to discover other environments, leaving his trace at various European railway
stations, like an in situ travel diary. He takes us on a journey along the avenue of his
figurative imagination, between ligne claire and underground comics, between the Neo-
Sumerians and the theory of relativity, with a pronounced taste for urban mythologies and
ancient ghettos. Jo Ber’s first intention is to make the mischievous line vibrate in a laughing
mood.
