Mugre Diamante

Mugre Diamante is a visual designer from Manizales, her native city. Her urban intervention
beginnings were with graffiti as she sought to explore the street environment through
aerosol lettering. She would later mix aerosol with other techniques to fashion her own
visual elements in a large format style, the step to her present graphic identity.
Her influences and references range from memories of education and family roots, from
music and dance to old magazine covers.
Her work has been enriched through the use of experimental typography, illustration and
the study of composition with colour. Paths to an effort to make the point that
perseverance, hard work and team spirit can be the driving force towards the fulfillment of
our dreams. Our endeavours to transform our circumstances will never be in vain if we are
not afraid to show who we are, irrespective of whether we come from the smallest town or
the biggest city.
