
Mohammed Shandoul
Libyan artist
Born in 1995, his journey as a mural artist began in the wake of Libya ’s 2011 Revolution. At 17, he painted his first mural in Tripoli. He pursued then studies in fine arts but later shifted to art full-time due to the Libya’s ongoing conflicts.
His murals focus on promoting peace and coexistence, tackling issues like hate speech and migration. Shandoul also worked in Tunisia and at the Czech Embassy. For him, art is a medium for dialogue and unity. He believes that street art is a powerful tool for societal change.
