Artist and art therapist Laetitia Crosse led workshops throughout the week, involving children from the child psychiatry department on extended stays, as well as young people on dialysis unable to leave their rooms. At first, some of them were rather wary, but once they had taken the first step, they quickly showed great enthusiasm and motivation. In view of this enthusiasm, we decided to double the number of workshops to satisfy all participants. 😄
After the morning’s workshops, some of the children set to work with Laetitia to create a fresco adorned with hummingbirds on one of the walls of the sports area. Their pride and joy in sharing their work with their parents showed just how precious and moving this moment was for the whole team.
