MJAY

A Lebanese artist born in Beirut, Marie Jose Ayoub likes to promote social and political causes through her art.

In 2009, she painted her first murals in various hospitals in Lebanon and Marseille. She then painted in schools in Beirut for the benefit of Palestinian refugees and in a shantytown.

She was sponsored by the Swiss Embassy, the United Nations and UNESCO, and in August 2021 she took part in a mural art workshop with pupils from 7 schools affected by the deadly explosion in Beirut.
